Many many happy returns! (Posting several days early, just to be safe.) And here's a drabble for you: "In Which Crowley Is Surprised"
Crowley blinked, rather unusually. Blinking was one of those human things that he considered optional, and since if he failed to blink, his eyes would continue to work just fine, it was, for him.
Sometimes, however, it seemed appropriate.
"You want to what?" he asked.
"Celebrate your birthday," Aziraphale replied.
"We don't have birthdays," Crowley pointed out. "Angels were created directly. Hence the lack of navel, among other things that distinguish us from humans."
Aziraphale pointed. "You didn't start out with that, either, but you've never shown any hesitation in using it."
"Well then, happy birthday to me," Crowley murmured.

I imagine Crowley will now be pestering Azi to help him, ahem, "celebrate his birthday" quite a bit more often than once a year. ;)

And I think Aziraphale will be quite happy to do that. *nods* After all, with no official birth date, any day could be suitable...
