Oh, I wish you could give us some. Some REAL rain though, none of this crap with the half-hour-long showers that leave it more muggy than it was before.
I just want a week that's overcast and in the 60s. Is that too much to ask? You'd think in Chicago it wouldn't be.
You kidding? I'm in fucking New England - cold capital of the United States - and everyone's wandering around my college campus in shorts and tank tops.
Yes yes yes -- I mean, down here it's more expected that there will be 90s in October, but I still loathe the idea. October is for crisp cool nights and maybe warm (but not hot) days. For leaves turning color and hot cider and the switch from stuff-on-the-grill to stuff-from-the-oven.

However, I am with you in wanting lots of snow this winter. I just bought weekday passes for our local ski area.

I've never gone skiing. I do want to try it someday.
I just love to walk in it and play in it and look at it. Every time it snows part of me turns 7 years old again. :D

It's time for crisp cool nights, I agree. And leaves blowing around in the wind. And a hint of winter to come. Time for pumpkin pie and mulled wine.
When the weather's hot and sticky
That's no time to dip your wicky
When the frost is on the pumpkin -
That's the time for peter dunkin'!

and about as pleasant as a the visual equivalent of a car alarm that won't stop.
I always wondered if other people felt the same way...
