Your strongest point, that Texas is bragging about the wrong things such as being a great place for businesses at the expense of general public good, is well said. We Americans seem to have a way of bulldozing whimsically through the business of creating an economy....I would like to apply the cafeteria style 'pick and choose' to this! We've had such a wide variety of brilliant theories and ideas on how to organize things from economics, to government, to families, to religion...it has been quite a creative mess....! If only we could get our act together :)

I completely agree about Rick Perry. This guy is a serious scumbag and it's alarming that he has the support that he does.
