[The combined noise of the crash and scream is enough to startle Koa awake, and she nearly falls out of her bed. She flips her journal open and quickly shouts a question for anyone else who heard-or witnessed-it.]

W-what was that?!

[The crash actually sent Adell's journal flying out of his pack, and it landed a few feet in front of him, open. He manages to hear her voice as he slowly tries to rise from that impact.]

Think... it's an experiment. I found one of those shiny discs and picked it up. And then it was like I was on a motorcycle in a video game.

...I may have... crashed it. I'm okay, though.

[Now on his feet and rubbing the back of his head wearily, Adell turns wearily to Frey. He's clearly off balance based on how he's swaying on his feet, but he hasn't fallen over yet.]

I think it was one of those light-motorcycle things I've kept hearing about. I found this shiny disc and when I picked it up, next thing I knew, I was driving it like it was a video game!

[Terra's walking around town, doing some errands that she's put off for a long time. She's lost in thought--at least until the sound of yet another one of those bikes comes closer. Realizing that she's in the way, Terra darts to the side, just in time to see Adell's spectacular crash.]

Think so. Definitely doesn't feel like I got hurt, just a little... shaken up.

[Here Adell, have a member of the Blue Rogues (who is no longer incapacitated) zooming by on his own bike - and, uh, he apparently knows what he's doing, considering he easily swings it around, almost getting parallel with the ground, to zoom back towards Adell. You're probably looped in by his flashy wall, now.]

[Oh, he's getting up. And leaping right the hell over that surrounding wall. The landing will be less than graceful given the disorientation, but it's not a crash.]

If I find another one of those discs, maybe I'll show you just that. I don't think that was bad for a first ride!
