I've split my orignal AU rec list into two parts, it just got too big. Originally I wasn't too fond of Hobbit AUs with modern settings, because I thought that the Tolkienverse just didn't translate too well into the modern age...boy, was I wrong. WAS I WRONG. There are some spectacular, fantastic modern setting AUs out there!
