Dear Gryffindor Boys Who Use the Facilities:

Feb 19, 2007 18:54

I do apologise for the recent bathtub infestation. The spawn of Trevoretta have taken root there and no one's been able to take a good bath for WEEKS. Though I know most of you DO prefer showers over baths, I happen to enjoy a good soak now and again after working in the gardens.

Do try not to step on any dozens of them.

That is all.

The frogs belong to you then? And here I thought Professor Snape sent them to us as a gift to use for potions class. I was running low on frog eyes.

Tell that to my fully stocked potions cabinet.

Think of it this way, the next time you become ill the potion that heals you will have several parts of your precious pet's babies.

You are a horrible woman.

Oi, without frog body parts we wouldn't have healing potions. Your frogs merely contributed to the good of medicinal treatment or some other complicated potion professor Snape wants us to brew.

But they weren't WILLINGLY experimented upon.

If we had to ask every animal for their permission to be eaten or used as potions ingredients, we would starve and have countless of curable illnesses.

Some animals have compassion and the want to make things better rather than being ruthless killing machines.

You're being far too sensitive about this. They are only frogs, Longbottom, breed some more.

But they were myyyyy frogs. I wouldn't go aroud killing anything of yours!

I certainly didn't see your name spelled onto any of them and you don't go killing any of my frogs because I don't breed any. Get over it, I doubt you even named any of them.

You have no clue which ones are missing and which are not!

Did I leave out a few? Oh yes, the little ones:
Bartholemew, Nebakaneezer, Little Linguini, and Frodo.

You're far too attached to those slimy creatures. I bet you can't even tell them apart. They all look the same.

I will not even waste my time on these pointless explanations to you of all people.

But they WERE like my.. well.. grandchildren I suppose.
