thanks, all, for the birthday wishes & the like. it served nicely to remind me that it was, in fact, the anniversary of my entrance into this world (like so many others, screaming, naked, & bloody), which yes, i would've otherwise forgotten, and thus i managed to con mitchell into promising that there will be birthday cake
