I have become preoccupied by thoughts of spring and getting my hands in the soil once again. the mild temperatures has the flower beds already sprouting and I am anxious to see many perennials reach up a few more inches so i can divide them and spread the color around. I used to be a fall fan since the summer was over but with a pool and a garden, spring and summer are so much more enjoyable.

I need to start planning a vegetable garden, too. Any green thumb tips?

There are horse farms near by and we have seen a few horses with riders ride down our street a few times a year, but the only poo we get in the yard is deer, rabbit and my own if i am locked out of the house.
