"it's hard to go out in the rain and not get wet" ?!!

seriously- how can you not hold your own citizens accountable for their own actions. It's catering to a sexual terrorist state. It's catering to mysogyny. It's rediculous. To have a government official say these things is seriously disgusting. Maybe someone needs to abduct their innocent 12 year old daughter, then state that she was living in the city juarez, and well- it was raining.

It is so frustrating that none of these "solutions" address any aspect of society that might be causing violence. Let me just tell you how me locking my doors everytime I close them and having my boyfriend walk me to class at night is stopping rapists from wanting to rape people or perpetrators of domestic violence from wanting to hit their spouse. I haven't read past this entry yet, but it would be interesting to know what the people advocating rape prevention would say about domestic violence.
