Пару минут назад получил письмо:
//Dear valued LeoSat Partner,
We very much appreciate your interest and commitment to LeoSat and with this letter I would like to update you on the latest developments. LeoSat as a NewSpace company is confronted with the same challenges of any start-up that is moving along the evolution from vision to reality. Whilst the company maintains its strong vision as a unique solution for B2B data connectivity in LEO, validated by the market and our early investors, we are now facing critical funding issues.
Late last week we had to make the very difficult decision to cancel our early obtained FCC license that required a long term financial commitment equal to that of multiple FTEs. As a startup we could no longer justify carrying the cost this early in the project and we will reapply for this license closer to launch, in parallel to obtaining our licenses in other countries. Meanwhile we are actively seeking additional funding and new partnerships in the IoT sector to take LeoSat to the next stage and to provide a wider suite of options for Enterprise connectivity, IoT and 5G communications activities and we will keep you informed as to these new developments...
Я ведь всего неделю назад, мы с автором этого письма обсуждали планы развертывания LeSat в Лондоне на VSAT Global 2019..При том, что ЛеоСат имел достаточно четкие коммерческие планы на свою нишу на рынке и не тешил себя надеждой обеспечить всех в Африке дешевым интернетом....
Неужели, инвесторы начинают прозревать и не хотят давать деньги под любой проект на тему Глобальной спутниковой сети???????
Итак, кто следующий?? Телесат?? Но представители спутниковой тусовки из Канады уверяли меня на IBC-2019 в Амстердаме , что Правительство Канады кровь из носу доведет проект до конца.. Хотя сомнения у меня тут очень серьезные гораздо разумнее скооперироваться с тем же OneWEb и выкупить у него ресурс для обеспечения ШПД всех эскимосов..
Будем наблюдать..
