yeah. im sure there's some music on the list that you would like.

also, how is belgium?

may i suggest a day trip to the Abbey of Saint Sixtus. It's in the city of Westvleteren. The monks at the abbey make what is considered to be the best beer in the world, Westvleteren 12. Bring some back and send one to me, please! haha! It's technically only available at the Abbey and one of their inns in order to prevent reselling. But yeah, I've had other similar Belgian beers like Chimay and Duvel and they're absolutely amazing. I sure hope you've had some...as opposed to the somewhat mediocre Stella Artois and Hoegaarden (which is decent) that you can find here.

mm! thanks! i bet some of my friends will be up for that.

i, unfortunately, have thsi problem where beers tend to make me feel very shitty and sick. so i don't drink a ton. stella artois is kinda ehh, duvel is too bitter but if they toned that down slightly it would be amazing.. i don't know, we'll see. so far i've been sticking with bellevue kriek (a cherry beer) just because i can stomach it, but it seems girly and stupid. we tend to buy a lot of pitchers of stella as a group.. college kids never learn, right?

but i'm working on it!!

well it all depends on the type of beer you have. i actually think you will like the Belgian beers...at least the ones that are triple fermented. They're called Tripel in Flemish...and Dubbel is another good style to try. Perhaps the Duvel you had was of a different variety since the brewery makes several kinds. The nice thing about Belgian beers is that they're just filled with flavor...certain spices...some are fruity...like the cherry one that you tried. In fact, I would say that Belgian beers are ones that most girls would enjoy because it doesnt have the usual beer flavor (exception being Stella). Try some Hoegaarden...it's a bit like a Hefeweizen and has a nice flavor. That one is a more widely available beer and perhaps a good starting point ( ... )

But your "best of the rest" is in a particular order - alphabetical by artist.

As far as artists' names that get you in trouble if you say them wrong, I like the Cunning Stunts and Buck Futt.

but Lupe's Outro has the best instrumental. ;-)

The Aceyalone album is pretty good.

haha. it's also like 10 minutes long. they played it non-stop when i went to his show at an SF club. like before he was on the stage and during the intermission.
