Atm we don't test on animals, but they do in our physiology department. The door to this room was open, so I decided to take a picture of the cute bunny. We can often smell burned flesh in the hallway, this is caused by electrocauterization which is a way of coagulating blood in surgery. Basically a cauter is a rod with an electric current that fries anything that touches it, it also can be used to cut tissues. And this gives a very distinct smell somewhat like burned hair or skin, just more powerful.

I'm not sure what they specifically do with them though. But they do test on a lot of animals.

Interesting pictures though etc, I just got hung up with the rabbit. :P

Reading this was such a great help. Anti aging skin products is such a complicated thing and this article explained it well. Many thanks to this new information.
