Yep, after getting everything resolved from before, with the motherboard being replaced in its entirety, the stupid thing's developed another issue. This time, instead of being anything that technically renders it unusable, it just has an annoying habit of alternating between not registering the r key at all, and spamming it wildly. Typing anything

That happened to my t key before. I feel your pain.

Luckily, it simply turned out to be a piece of dirt that got stuck under the key and was easily taken out with the bristles of a paintbrush.

Hehe, I popped the keys off to check for that first. Would've made things nice and easy, so of course that couldn't be the case.
