i bought a polaroid 600 at the flea market today, for 100 r. (~$4), it had 7 sheets of old paper in it. i wasted most of them on testing. it's a very funny camera - i wonder if that thing should be called 'camera' at all though - too bad the cartridges are so expensive. also, i bought two soviet cameras yesterday, one of them a 1957 zenit-s slr ( Read more... )

i love that pola and i am so excited for you!
but yes, polaroid film is so fucking expensive :( why did they decide to do that? i mean, it's even more expensive than regular film with the processing costs added in :(

yeah, but it includes an accumulator. it's really crazy, and i didn't believe it when the man who sold it told me that the cartridge includes both the paper and the battery. it's also funny that people call this 'film' in english.
