Dear Owners of Subaru Foresters,
That burning odor is coming from axle grease burning off of your catalytic converter. The inner boot on your right front axle is torn and slinging grease everywhere.

My current favorite "what the fuck" is the Jetta oil pans. Aluminum pan, with a steel bolt to plug it. Strip threads much? Dummies.

I fucking wish I was kidding. How bout this lovely VW idiocy; "Let's run the main PCM bus circuit through the radio, so that way if an owner buys a different stereo, the car will just cut-off at seemingly random intervals?"
That's my former favorite.
The German at the top translates as "Why simplify? When as complex, it goes!" that is an actual motto of many engineers. I blame their way-better-than-ours beer.
