Առյուծն ու գայլը

Առյուծների մի զույգ տարապ էր մտցնում,
Իրենց խիզախությամբ մեդալի աշխարհում:
Սակայն մի պահ եկավ և մեկը չդիմցավ,
Լքեց-չվեց դեպի առատ և ցուրտ երգիր:

Իսկ էտ պահին հանկարծ՝ արի ու տես,
Ախպերն իրա խիզախ, լուլա կերած՝ բխկաց,
ԵՎ պահանջեց գայլից կրկին դուրս գալ մարտի՝
Իր ուժը գովալով առանց ոչ մի հիմքի:

ԵՎ գայլը չվախեց, մենակ հելավ մարտի,
Կծեց ու հոշոտեց նա սիրտն
