I feel like I never have enough time to do all the things I want/need to do. I know some of my time gets eaten up by mundane things that smack of housewifery (primarily the acquisition, preparation, and distribution of food), and my depression tends to gnaw at the edges of my productivity, but I don't watch TV, I don't really surf the net, I'm not ( Read more... )

I sounded really hard on myself, didn't i? I didn't mean to, I think I'm just frustrated by how scattered I feel. I want to do stuff, but I think my eyes are bigger than my "play time" allows. I should start a post-retirement project list...

housewifery takes up an awful lot of time even when it's mundane and seemingly non-time consumptive. i am finding it much quicker to do things now that i have to do not as much for other people. especially the food stuff, i hardly ever do any of that and i like not doing it.

Yes, the housewifery is such a time suck. My standards would be so much lower if it was just me. The whole FOOD thing is the worst though. It's never ending.
