The ruffled cropped jacket looks almost exactly like a top that I saw (and made a doll sized version of) from 1860.

Hehe - hey cutie! I'm a member of Fatshonista - a LJ community for plus-sizes and Friday is sales' day, so I'm trying to get it all sorted out in my head - and then my stupid stomach started hurting - grr...(grin) I had to put my "addiction" into something besides bpal :)

It's adorable! I bought it last year, it's just so fancy that I won't wear it again - I used it for a Christmas party. I love when they bring designs back :)

I want to learn how to sew badly! I envy you :) I'd love to be able to at least make my own skirts, because I love the full skirts with a little tulle on the bottom - maybe one day I'll try to find lessons.

I'm pretty meh this morning. (Fighting with the best friend does that)

Sewing is pretty easy for me ...but one of the easiest things there is to make is a full skirt. I'm positive you could master it in no time.

I hope you're doing better in the tum department- that's miserable.

Ah - I'm so sorry! If it makes you feel any better, I haven't had a best friend since 9th grade - so, if you want to use my example to feel better (fighting with one v. not having one at all...hehe) - feel free ;) I'll send positive thoughts your way that it gets better :)

I hope so! I'm going to look into getting a sewing machine - and then learning how to make just a basic skirt. I lack a little in patience (grin) You're amazing though!
