I made this quilt (my first ever, and probably last since I had no clue how involved quilting is) a while ago now, but never got around to posting the finished product. It is called The Quilt of Memories.
Such beautiful work Kirsty. You are an amazing woman and not a day goes by I haven't been thinking of you and praying for you, Mark, and the girls since that first post you made telling us about Mark's tumor. xoxo
That is such a beautiful quilt and the meaning behind it is so sweet. I wish nothing but the best for you and Mark in this long road ahead. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
Also, I just wanted to say I've been slow to add friends lately because I am/have been, understandably going through some huge struggles lately and my journal isn't the most pleasant place to be. I dont want people to know this person I am now, but rather the person I was before who found beauty in life. I am getting back to her slowly so hopefully one day my journal will read with the excitement like it once did :)
What a beautiful family you have! I'm glad your sweetheart has made it through and is recovering! (I came over from sew hip) Your quilt (and the owl hat in the next post down) are gorgeous and I really love the backstory of your quilt. (I can't seem to find the right words to express the thought!)
