This dream mapping thing works pretty well, I must say.

I just did a map on a really weird dream I had this morning. I'd probably still be doing it if I didn't completely fill up the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper with my scribblings. And it was only part of the dream - the strange creepy part.

The elder lady in a dream is your "Über-Ich", classically. Your "inner adult", the side that criticizes and keeps watch and tends to be something of a bully :-).
Seems you don't feel quite comfortable with giving yourself the recognition you deserve... But you're definitely on the way there.

Another interpretation occurred to me this morning:

The severed toe could also represent some ability, task or hobby that I had to give up (belly dancing actually falls into the category of an activity put by the wayside), and it literally has caused my life to become unbalanced and painful, so I grafted another toe onto the foot (replaced the activity with another activity) to regain my balance. Or maybe I need to "rebalance" my life (or take up belly dancing again ;-D ).

Was yoga supposed to replace the belly dancing, then?
And: Don't you have to practice every day to stay capable of tying yourself into knots anyway ;-P?
