Yeah, I understand what you're getting at there. Jason normally would be more 'whatever' about it, and probably would have been right off the bat, however, Stephanie Brown, in her reactions and comments, seemed half-close to a panic attack. Disregarding Jason's opinions towards her or anyone else, he still has no hard feelings toward her, and he tends to be a protective individual anyway in addition to being sarcastic and a murderous vigilante. His ramming down the throats was a one time deal here to keep Stephanie from having to deal with derision toward her friend's death when she's already close to panic and breakdown.
