I could probably contribute something about agriculture and/or biofuels, if you have a particular thing in mind you'd like to know about. I'm by no means an expert, but it's part of what I do for a living now.

I forgot to friend this community so I'd know when you were posting.

So now that I've read this I'd love to do some work on the environment or civil rights.

I'm an urban planner and my areas of expertise are affordable housing, homeless issues, community development organizations, and welfare and poverty.

I spent a little time blogging today about the current presidential race (http://shake-it-up.livejournal.com/153717.html). For software reasons I haven't linked to sources. How would this piece fit in, as a guest blog?

I'm a bit concerned about the content being biased in favor of your own partisan ideals (of which we share much in common), and the fact that it's more observational opining than a resourced and straightforward piece meant to educate on core issues.

It's well done, and I really appreciate your slant on the IA Caucus, I'm just leery of having personal opinions on the candidates themselves in this community. Perhaps I should put out a poll and ask the member what they would like to see, or even better - an open thread asking for feedback. If they would like opinion pieces as well as the more direct issue-based guestblogging, I'm all for it.
