 My assignment is in. My PGCE application is sent. My dissertation form is signed. My inner geek is purring after two hours of Mass Effect.

My dissertation tutor will probably be Sam North. He's new this year, and I'm pretty sure I was his first dissertation student. He did a good lesson when he was covering us one week though, and he's a published author and everything, so I'm sure he'll be fine.

Whoever said "never work with children or animals" had an interesting point, but not a very practical one. It would mean the end of civilisation for the human race if nobody worked with children and they ran wild forever, but we probably wouldn't survive that long if nobody could farm, because that's working with animals, of course.

Having said that, some days I agree with them.

I think the quote was more relating to theatre/acting stuff than anything else.
