Crehador heard footsteps and waited behind a large pillar to see who the sound belonged to. It wasn't anyone he'd ever seen before, but at least it wasn't one of those large scary things outside. Relieved he wasn't going to starve alone, went up to the other. "Seeking refuge from the large creatures?" He kept a mask of calm as he spoke.

The noises had drawn Naoya's attention as well. He was a short way down the hall from Crehador, but so far he hadn't noticed him. "So it was true..." he murmured quietly to himself. "I didn't figure it was possible. I'd thought it was a symbol..." He'd seen a warning a few days before about this very event, yet he hadn't managed to quite put all the pieces. One of the things that was crystal clear was the image of the outside of this temple. He'd shown up to inspect the place yesterday. His searching had lead him to what he now figured as the reason he'd been drawn to the temple, a small food storage room on the basement level.
Crehador hood footsteps nearby and saw a figure walking down towards the basement. As he headed down the stairs in that direction himself, he noticed someone in the foyer area of the temple. Figuring it would be easier to get both of their attention at once, though he really wasn't one to want to draw attention to himself, he called out to both of them. "Hello? Who's there?" It was better to be with others with those bizarre things outside.
Naoya stayed where he was, making no response. If he was lucky, really lucky, he hadn't been spotted. It would be best if he just remained away from everyone else. There was enough going on already. The last thing he needed to worry about was getting too close to people.
