Cain wrapped arms around her when he felt Merry cling to him. "Don't cry Merry. It's really me." The words themselves seem inadequate and he just tightened his arms around her. He'd never honestly expected to see her again and now...

Merry tilted her head. That wasn't very reassuring at all. But Riff didn't have to worry about her-- she was hardly going to lose her insanity, not when she had her family here. If this wasn't London, that was okay-- London was silly and stuffy anyways.

"We'll be fine like this, won't we?" she inquired. "We don't need to go back to London just yet."

"Of course we will." Cain assured her after a moment. He was still adjusting to seeing her again. "At least we should be. This city does ..strange things at times but.."
