Haruhi walks into the room and looks around slowly. After last years event she had no plans to spend the night alone. She wasn't about to admit it but she was still a little uneasy. Her eyes look over the room slowly before walking over to Tamaki.

"Hello Tamaki. If I knew you were coming here, I would have walked with you." She says. Haruhi starts to make her self some tea with the items on the cart.

As soon as he saw the girl walk in, the King's eyes lite up like a light bulb. He had once read something that in order to grasp someone's attention, he would have to act a bit aloof and detached. Have them think of you instead of the other way around. And definitely unlike his constant and overbearing watch over her. Tamaki placed his charmful smile across his face as he brushed his fingers through his bangs, containing himself the best he could when really on the inside, he was bursting with joy that she had decided to come, in which if she didn't, he was about to go chase her down and bring her himself.

"Yah~ Haruhi. I'm glad you decided to come join me tonight. Daddy is really happy!!" He nonchalantly tilted his head up as he continued. "Ah, this was something I decided to organize at the last minute. I'm sorry you didn't know about it sooner." The king answered in a suave manner as he followed her to the cart. Pulling out a rose from nowhere, he went for the kill. "Perhaps, we'll be spending it together. Just the two of-" That ( ... )

Joshua watched the exchange curiously as he sipped his cocoa.

Haruhi sips her tea as she watches Tamaki. She was a bit confused about how calm he was. She glances at Joshua then back at Tamaki. "We spend a lot of time together at home." She states completely missing his point.

Naoya had received the message about the event and had hesitated and debated for along time over going. He'd finally decided it was high time to get out of the room. Perhaps with a lot of people around he could blend into the background and stay out of everyone's way. The was the plan at least. Stay near the back by an exit so he could make a quick exit if he had too.

The young man was rather glad it was semi-dark in the room when he slipped inside. Again, it would be less likely to be spotted. That was prefect. He drifted off to the side, careful to stay pressed against the wall. With a little luck he could get through this without major trouble.

Another event another happening was more likely what to expect, Kurogane thought as he quietly stood against the wall in the darkest part of the room. It seemed as though more people were flowing in when he noticed the odd ball of the bunch heading his way. Arms crossed over his chest, the ninja kept his eyes on him as he kept his presence unknown; much like what any normal ninja would do.

When the boy came closer, he observed him carefully. From the looks, he didn't seem like the type who would be plotting something in the back or anything. More so, he seemed like the delicate type. Did the boy know they were most likely going to be telling ghost stories? He closed his eyes and lightly sighed, deciding to calmly speak out to him.

"Why don't you go join the others instead of hiding back here."

Naoya yelped and skittered off to the side. He'd immediately thrown his arms up to cover his head. So much for not having any major trouble. It took him a moment to realize that Kurogane wasn't coming closer. That didn't help much, but it was enough for Naoya to lower his arms. The boy was still trembling and looked like a trapped rat about to bolt at any second. Yes, this had been a very bad idea.

((I doubt Kurogane's the type to actually touch Naoya, but if he does Naoya will see some sort of vision of Kurogane's past/soul/important event/who he really is...))

The ninja simply raised an eyebrow, unsure of whether to be amused or just plain wtf about it. Did he do anything to scare the boy THAT much? Honestly. He sighed again as he made an attempt to comfort the other.

"Calm down. It's not like I'm going to eat you or anything."

[ooc: Ohhh neat! Yeah, he isn't the type but we'll see what happens~<3 Thanks!]

Joshua entered and looked around. A night of telling ghost stories around a fire reminded him of training expeditions and the occasional camping trip he'd gone on with Rosette, when she'd still been relatively healthy. And he certainly had a lot of stories. He headed over to the cart. "Hello," he says, and makes himself a cup of cocoa.

Well, this certainly was some gathering the poison lady had to admit. It seemed like years since she'd been to any party and despite it not being an obligation to go, Anissina had to admit, she missed it at times. Her hands placed on her hips and thoroughly observing those already in the room, she glanced back behind her as she heard a "hello".

Hm. A young man. A young human man it seemed. To much of her surprise it seemed that the majority of this world was comprised of humans, which brought her disappointment. In order for her experiments to be a success, she needed someone with maryoku considering that's the only inventions she really focused on. Of course, it didn't mean she couldn't come up with something besides that, but in any case, she needed a good subject. A good 'moniata' with maryoku, which she wasn't getting.

Despite that, she didn't mind having a friendly conversation so she answered back with a "Hello" of her own and walked towards the cart.

Joshua smiled at the young woman. There was something very interesting about her--a slight shimmer that tugged at his sixth sense. Of course, she was also a very pretty young woman, and he was engaged, not blind. "I hope this social occasion goes a bit more smoothly than the last one," then by way of introduction, "Joshua Christopher, miss--?"

Goes smoothly than the last one? That certainly sparked her interest. If there was trouble than really who else was there than for her to fix it! "What exactly happened at the last?"

When he introduced himself, she couldn't help stand a bit more erect as she placed her hands back onto her hips. "My name is Anissina von Karbelnikoff, the beautiful and genius inventor of Shin Makoku. Now, tell me in detail of this incident you speak of."

Crehador didn't feel comfortable at ghost events. People often thought they were innocuous, but he knew better. There was a likelihood that something unpleasant would make an appearance, but luckily enough, he could probably handle anything that would show up. But for the time being, he got himself some tea and sat in the darkness in the far corner of the room to keep an eye on things.

Strolling in not long after Crehador did, Riffael glanced around the room and made his way to where the other man was. He leaned against the wall and light up a cigarette, blowing the smoke in Cre's direction in lieu of a hello.

"Strange, all this time I've been here and I've never noticed you were here as well, Magician. You can imagine my surprise when I noticed you on the street."

Crehador narrowed his eyes in displeasure and glared at the tall man approaching him. A magician he was not, but this man's attitude and size made him not want to argue a trivial point.

"You speak as if you know me. I can't say that I know much about you besides the fact you are Count Hargreaves' lap dog. Although, you don't seem to be quite the way I remember you."

"I can assure you that I am no-one's lap dog," Riffael said before taking a long drag of his cigarette and flicking some ash to the floor. There was a hint of anger behind the statement, but not enough to raise suspicion over how he truly felt. He shifted his weight away from the wall and turned towards Crehador, studying him for a moment.

"We have more than one Hargreavs in common," he explained in a dark, somewhat amused tone. The Tower had expected this man to be ignorant to their shared connection with Delilah, but assumed he would pick up on the inference sooner or later. When he first rid himself of the butler, most had little idea he was harboring two personalities within one form. Really, Death and the Trump were the only two that would have been expected to (and did) know. Likely from their close work with The Cardmaster.

Minagawa entered the room and made his way over to the snack cart to set down a tray of cupcakes. Being a member of the host club was, for him, an excuse to bake more; so of course he had to bring a little something to add to what Tamaki had already laid out. The cupcakes were "spooky" in a cheap Halloween-y way that was uncharacteristic of what he usually made. However, underneath the crushed chocolate cookie topping of each cupcake, was a gummy worm with a spell put on it to cause it to wriggle and squirm just like a real worm; an addition that he hoped would cause a shriek or two as the night progressed.

Klarth figured he would go try something different besides reading and wondering if he'd ever get home again. Following the instructions from the com device, he found his way into a dim room and looked around. He saw a few people around and what seemed like a snack cart. Something to drink didn't sound like a bad idea, but there was something about the man that stood beside the cupcakes that was a little ominous.

The chef leaned forward, and and to his left, in such a way that he might get a look at the newcomers face. Not a familiar looking man; so Minagawa couldn't help but wonder if he'd been to a Host Club event before.
"Hello~" he said, stretching out the vowels. He offered his hand for a shake, while still at the awkward angle.

Ah! He'd been spotted! Not having the most friendly of attitudes, he crossed his arms and looked at the other for a moment before wearily accepting his handshake. "Hello. Do you happen to know what exactly this event is all about?"
