Unpleasant arrival

Rating:  PG-13 because Ken's going to be in a very bad mood and will probably swear/try to kill someone

Ruby jolted awake from her nap at hearing the new comers shouts. She had been resting in a near by tree enjoying the sun. She tilts her head as she watches the man start to panic. Ruby reaches out in front of her and stretches, before sitting. Her red eyes follow the human. Ruby had been through this before but she had gotten bored of watching others. She understood the panic and fear.

"Calm down, before you pass out or something."Ruby says

Ken whipped around, claws flashing as the passed through the air in an attempt to skewer whoever had spoken. Thankfully Ruby was too far away for Ken to hurt given his current location. In fact, he hadn't even spotted the dragon. In his world animals didn't talk. At all. "Who's there?" he snapped, temper already flaring.

Ruby chuckled a little watching Ken thrash around at nothing. It was quite amusing to her. She whistles a little and waves to him, "Up here buddy."

Ken's head snapped up at the sound of her voice. He scanned the trees, eyes narrowed behind his glasses. His body tense, Ken was still ready to strike at anyone he saw. He frowned when the only thing he spotted was a cat (or what he thought was a cat). If he hadn't thought he was losing his mind yet, he was certain he was losing it now. Cats didn't talk. They couldn't talk.

The dragon waves a little with her paw. "Welcome to Vortexx! I am Ruby." She says stretching her wings out a little. She debated flying over to him, but those sharp claws were more then she was willing to deal with.
