Ritsuka liked to take pictures, if he had no one to make memories with he liked to make compositions within the scenery and his current place to go was the park. He had been there since early morning, doing a series set. He had used the high-quality film camera that Kyouya had gotten him and Ritsuka was ever so grateful for the megane's generosity.
So it wad too his surprise as he was doing a series on the benches since several little birds had been sitting there and Ritsuka had intended to do a black and white developement when Kyouya scared the birds away and sat down on the bench.
It took him a moment but Ritsuka packed up the tri-pod and walked over to the other, his ears bent down and he frowned as he watched Kyouya make signs of both pain and annoyance.
"Is something wrong Kyouya-sama?" he asked softly as he finally stood in front of the other.
Kyouya was surprised by a voice suddenly coming up to him, he hadn’t expected anyone else to be at the park with the setting sun. Looking up as he was pulled from his thoughts, Kyouya smiled when he saw that it was Ritsuka, had it been anyone outside of the club Kyouya likely would not have acknowledged them at all. Standing again Kyouya greeted the younger boy ensuring to sound as if everything were fine.
“Hello Ritsuka-san, it’s good to see you again.”
Kyouya noticed the camera that the boy had with him, remembering the time and reason why Kyouya had hunted down the equipment it then made sense why Ritsuka would be in the park.
He smiled up at the older boy, hugging the camera close to his chest. The others would have to realize that Ritsuka was not so blind or ignorant as they may have thought. Naive to be sure but he saw the signs well enough, despite not having really seen Soubi's.
"It's nice to see you too Kyouya-sama, but is everything alright? Do you have a headache?" he set the tripod on the bench, still watching the other. His ears perked up and his tail gave a slight swish.
Kyouya continued to smile, there was no doubt that Ritsuka had seen him a moment ago when he was thinking. Kyouya adjusted his glasses and laughed, “I had a slight headache, but I was just caught up in thinking about what still needs to be done before the club’s grand opening. I just came out here to get some fresh air and to escape the hotel for a little while.”
While that was part of what he had been thinking about, it was the other things that had given Kyouya the headache. However, he had enjoyed the younger boys company in the few times that they had spoken and it would be of no merit to turn the boy away now. There were time though when Kyouya wondered if Ritsuka could see through him similar to how Tamaki had.
He laughed again smiling, “How are you photographs coming?”
"In... a sense," he replied, it wasn't too horribly uncommon to suffer from amnesia right? Well, he supposed being a new Ritsuka would be a bit odd he supposed but at least Kyouya wasn't making a big deal of it, exclaiming he was a brave soul for still living day to day like a hero like a certain blond might.
"No one will tell me what caused it," he chuckled. "Sometimes I think about what caused it, but I figure there's no point, it won't bring back the memories."
The fact that he was unable to recall so much of his life explained why the child was so obsessed with photography and ‘making memories’. It was most likely that he was afraid that he would forget if he didn’t have the photos as evidence. Also, such an abrupt change also is what caused the problems between Ritsuka and his mother.
"Even if they did, would it change anything? You have friends like Sakura and Yuuko who accept you as you are now. Then there is also the host club as well."
Kyouya folded both of his hand on the table as he looked out the window. Even if they seemed to still be falling apart.
He smiled at being told the host club, and yes, he did have Yuuko and Sakura, Kio too.
"Thank you Kyouya-sama..." his ears bent back and he looked up at the other. "You shouldn't confine yourself to being the third brother when your brothers aren't here."
“Perhaps, but there will come a time when I eventually return home. Besides there is little that someone like myself can do in a place such as this.”
Kyouya smiled and he continued to speak. As a fresh cup of hot tea was poured Kyouya tore a small piece of bread that had been placed at the table.
“Even if I were not the third son little would change, and since I am there is no merit in pretending otherwise. If there no merits for me in something then there is no reason for me to bother doing it. No other reason will move me.”
