Cold weather was annoying. Then again, so was being stuffed up in a hotel bunched with of people that looked like they were ready to head for a science fiction convention. House limped down the road looking for something of interest.

And behold, a tavern beyond yonder!

He entered inside the tavern, sitting a few seats away from a man clad in a black cloak. House squinted his eyes around the bar, looking at the array of different liquor.

"Helllooo? Someone here? Or does the cripple have to do some self service?"

Severus glanced toward the bearded, rather grumpy looking man, raising his eyebrow. "I take it you're new here."

"Oooh, been here for a few days. And I take it you're not going to serve my drink or pull a rabbit from...where ever" he replied, scratching his stubble.

Severus smirked slightly at the rabbit comment. "I'm not in charge of this place if that's what you're asking. I don't know if you know this or not, but everything is free for yours to take."
