The tree looked as if it was moving. Back and forth, and back again. He tilted his head, trying to make sense of this, because usually trees didn’t move like this. After another minute, a voice caught his ears, making his head snap towards it. Bad move. He fell over, ramming into the tree, sending his world spinning. Who was it?

“What? But I am home! See!” He pointed to the carved name. “It’s got my name on it!”

Ed jumped and stared at him a moment. He really hadn't ever been around drunk people. Well, that wasn't true. People THIS drunk. It rather worried him, but still he was more annoyed with how irresponsible the man on the ground before him was to GET like this.

"No. It's not. Come on, take my hand, I'll help you up," he said, flat and leaning down with his palm out, looking agitated. "We REALLY need to get you home."

Roy looked at the hand with a mild curiosity. It hadn’t been there a second before. And it belonged to a rather gold haired boy. He blinked. He knew the boy, but for the life of him couldn’t remember his name at the moment. Taking the offered hand, it took him a moment to get himself into a standing position. Then came the wobbling again.

“I fell~!” he mused, twining his fingers in Ed’s. “But now I’m saved! Thank you… Angel?”

Ed pulled and got the colonel upright, looking at him with caution and ready hands to catch hold of him as he wobbled. He was in threat of toppling again.

"Yeah, you did, genius," he grumbled, looking at their hands a moment and biting the inside of his cheek as Roy kept speaking. He felt his face turn red and was glad Roy was too smashed to notice. "Yeah yeah, whatever. 'Ed-bean' is taking you home, so come on. It's cold."

He started to lead the way through the park.
