Balmung awoke slowly, looking about the area around him.  It was a new zone to him - it didn't look much like the root towns yet released, and it certainly didn't look like any zone he'd yet encountered in The

He needed to walk. He needed to separate himself from those of his world. He was failing his friend, failing in protecting him from what he knew was someone bearing a mask. He'd witnessed it, experienced it himself. He found, though, now he was powerless to stop a second occurrence. The recent speak with another half of a set of twins made his memories bubble up. He couldn't take it all right now.

A walk seemed the best idea for him right now. He was sure Natsuo wouldn't mind.

As he approached the clock tower, he found a peculiar sight. An.. angel, it seemed. He'd witnessed stranger. He quirked his head to the side lightly, watching him move his arms and make odd gestures, speaking to himself. Fiddling with his wings.

"Hello?" he said in his calm tone, approaching more, with a caution. He couldn't be sure of anyone in this world, he knew that. Especially with his still-adjusting depth perception, bandages still concealing his dead eye.

Is that another user? Balmung though lightly, turning to face the newcomer. He'd found that flash-mail wasn't working either, though his efforts had yeilded something extra - a device akin to the holo-laptops he and the other admins of The World used in-game. It seemed to be linked to a larger network, but if there was a user here he shouldn't be rude.

"Hello!" Balmung said, overly bright as he tended to be these days. "I'm afraid I don't recognize this zone, can you tell me something of it?"

Subaru nodded as he was greeted by the other in turn. The other seemed a little out of his element. He suspected he was new and was answered quite quickly.

"Zone?" he inquired, putting one hand in his pocket, feeling the new pack of Lucky Sevens. If Fuuma were good for anything at any moment it was informing him of the sale of these cigarettes. He shook his head.

"I'm afraid people seem to know very little about this world, other than that we're trapped here for an undetermined amount of time," he mentioned, giving a little nod.

"A new world?" Balmung asked aloud, as if questioning the others - but he was past that. One of the admins must've gotten it into his head to make a new event - that or Aura was working a new scheme in order to grow up. How strange though... that I sould be unable to log out...
He'd heard rumors, of course, but things were unofficial about the idea of making a World RE:2, and he'd hoped they wouldn't destroy the World he loved so dearly.
However, this was the now...

"Well then, I'm Balmung of the Azure Sky!" The other said, his wings spreading by some off relex, showering the area with feathers. He reached out his arm as he did so, offering to shake the other's hand.
