Axel had walked all the way from the city streets to the beach and that was hard for a cat. Why couldn't he remember where the hotel was? Was Roxas not worried about his safety?

He meowed loudly, hoping to catch the attention of any living thing. No response. Crap~ The pyro thought.

As Rangiku approached the road, a loud meow caught her attention. "Eh?" she asked, glancing around to locate its source. There, walking along the side of the road was a cat with bright green eyes.

Rangiku knelt down beside it. "Well, hello there little fellow. What are you doing way out here?"

Hisoka was walking along the road, relieved that he had regained back to human when he noticed a lady in a familiar looking uniform from a distance, kneeling down to a cat.

He eyed her: "Are you another shinigami from Soul Society?"

Rangiku looked up at the boy approaching her. Hand on the hilt of her zanpakutou, she steadily rose to her feet.

"Yes, and who might you be?" she asked, a hint of suspicion in her voice.
