Opening the cafe door, Fiore holds it open as Chloe and Gunter exit. Closing the door behind her, she turns to only see Aion and Gunter. Confused as to why Chloe had left, after she said she'd travel with them, Fiore assumed she just changed her mind.
"Aion-sama, I've done as you've asked. It seems as if Chloe was going to join us, but had other arrangements. Perhaps she will join us later."
Observing the three come out of the cafe, Aion's eyes slowly averts towards the girl slipping away. Grinning, he turns his head to look at Fiore, who reports to him of Chloe's disappearance. "I see..." Letting out a sigh, he raises both of his arms as he shrugs his shoulders. "She didn't seem to have a liking for me, I suppose~ Although..." Eying Gunter from the corner of his eyes, he snickers as he starts walking.
While walking ahead he calls out to the two remaining members of the group in a stern, deep voice. "Come... let's look for a place to stay... and claim as our own... there's still a need for me to sort things out."
Glancing back towards the hotel he'd come to call 'home' for a brief while, he didn't worry that some of the thing he had aquired were still inside. He instead worried about the motives of this demon. Following quietly as they began to walk, he was lost in thought, occassionally firing looks of hatred towards Aion's direction. Thinking to himself, "If this man longs for freedom, then why does he prevent my own? Is that not opposite of his desired objective?"
Sensing a deadly glare from behind him, he couldn't help but grin to himself. Staying aware of his surroundings, Aion looked about the area tentatively. As he did so, he calls Fiore over to him to discuss what they have spoken about back at the cafe. "Fi...tell me... what have you found out about our mysterious visitor.."
Chloe continues to walk with the accompany of Li. Obviously Li would like to meet the person Chloe spoke of back in the restaurant. Still keeping surveillance, Chloe can't help but somehow relate Li's behavior with a 'close' friend of hers. Strange, she thought keeping a straight face. Chloe then pauses at the corner of the block. Aion is coming this way, she might as well wait.
Ignoring Gunter's comment, Aion starts to walk again until he spots a familiar face from a far. With a grin appearing on his face, he lifts his arms out to the side, greeting the missing member.
"Ah~ there you are, Chloe. We were wondering where you've gone off to." Fully aware of when she's disappeared, he adds in a sarcastic comment. "I didn't even know you left us until Fi told me of your absence. And?" Averting his eyes to focus on the new comer behind her.
Sarcastic. How tedious. Hei stared at Aion from his position slightly behind Chloe. "Li Shengshun." Bluntly, with mild disinterest. "You are?" How would the man introduce himself? Names were irrelevant. Manner was everything.
Her eyes remain looking forward hearing Li introduce himself bluntly. She wonders how Aion would respond to him.
Like she cares if he knew or not. Sarcasms, typical. Chloe stood in front of Aion with Li behind her. "I'm here now," she replies simply with her chin tucked within her cloak's collar.
Flinging the knife back to Li (assuming that he's going to catch it), Aion combs his fingers through his hair as he responds calmly. "I see. You're a very easy man to satisfy Mr. Li. A contract with no strings attached..." Showing a devious grin as he cackles, he thinks to himself. A pawn, that's willing to work for me without a written contract.. ha ha ha.. well.. that's fine by me... I'm very sure you'll be of great use to me... Li...Exhaling deeply and recovering from his humorous cackle, Aion slightly tilts his head to the side bringing his hand up to his own chin, as he continued to carry out their conversation. "I like that. You're a very interesting man. Well then, my deepest apologizes for the delay. My name is Aion and..." As he slightly bows bringing one arm across his chest and then lifts his head up to look Li straight in the eyes. "..I'm a demon
( ... )
Hei caught the knife and returned it from whence it came. A demon. He didn't believe him. Hei was a committed atheist, and angels and demons had no place in his beliefs. However, he did believe that the man was an extremely powerful alien being. Not necessarily a demon, but just as powerful as the mythological creature. Aion. A demon.
He'd remember that. No strings attached. Sure. He wanted a job, that was it. Hei wasn't known for his morality. "Yes." He didn't bother to glance at the girl, who was obviously fine. "That will be sufficient for this job. If that's all, then I'll be leaving."
Curling his lips, Aion turns sideways to glance slyly at Li from the side. Closing his eyes he pulls out the communicator and holds it in front of his own face.
"You have one of these, don't you?" Re-opening his piercing eyes. "You'll be contacted when needed and not to worry... it'll surely be entertaining.. and... well worth your time... ha ha ha..."
As Aion starts walking towards the forest, he puts his communicator away as he turns his head and adds a comment before raising a hand up symboling their farewell..for now. "I'll be expecting quite a bit from you."
