Varon walked quietly along the streets. He didn't really have a direction in which he was headed. He was just out enjoying a moment to himself now that he was all moved into his new place and settled. The gentlemen who owned the place, Roy, seemed like a very nice guy and said he didn't mind if he had his weapons just as long as they stayed out of sight.

The place was very nice too with several rooms and such. He hadn't run into any of the other tenants as of yet, but he was certain he would eventually.

Rikku bounced along some more, looking around curiously. She’d only ever been to the park and part f the training grounds, so the rest of the town was still a mystery she wanted to solve. She knew Lulu would find Yuna sooner or later, so Rikku found something else to preoccupy her time.

She stopped when she spotted a young man walking the streets. He looked a bit depressed to her, and she automatically wanted to cheer him up. “Hi~!”

Varon paused looking around. He thought he was going nuts. No one would speak to anyone like him...would they?

His eyes fell on a rather energetic looking young woman.

"Were you talking to me?" he wondered.

Rikku stopped, giving him a confused look. “Of course. I don’t see anyone else around!” She walked right up to him. “You don’t like people talking to you?”
