The teenager rounded the corner and saw the girl. Luke picked up his pace to meet up with her. He knew from times before that Tear would act distant.

Maybe it was wrong for him to pry into Tear to figure out what he did. But he wanted to know what he would be apologizing for. And with him, Tear told him. So now, he wanted to apologize in person because over a communicator wasn't enough.

Finally, with a few more footsteps, he reached her. Already, the air was this and awkward. "Hey," he mumbled.

Luke stood up suddenly, his eyes following Tear. "But it is!" he said sternly. "I know this whole thing is bothering you because even though you're here, you're avoiding me."

She glared at him before turning away.

"I just need time to think about itm more."

Luke turned away from her, trying to control his rage. "For someone who says 'it's nothing' all the time, you sure have a lot to think about," he muttered under his breath.

Tear didn't say anything and continued to swing.

Now what was he supposed to do? Luke wanted to apologize, but still, Tear wasn't letting him. What could he say to make her understand.

Tear turned to him with a slightly confused look.

"Why would you be lying about being sorry?"

Still facing away from the young girl, he replied. "No, I am sorry for what I said, but I'm not lying about what I said."

Tear completely stopped swinging and stared at Luke.

Tear just sat there, what was there to say? There was no point in telling him that she felt that same, besides, he already knew.

"Yes. But it'll be easier, if you just ignored that.. feeling."

It was obvious that Luke knew he couldn't expand his feelings for Tear. Unfortunately for Tear in this situation, Asch was more important than anyone else in Auldrant, or even in this world.
