Shigure walked with the boy into the house. This would be an interesting experience for the boy. Painful, too, in all likelihood. Oh well. It had to bed done, and the sooner he got acquainted with

Kiyoshi had walked in mostly silence. The home they entered was all to familliar, yet unwelcoming it seemed. Oh well, he thought as he looked around. 'home' He thought somewhat plesently.

"I have a room already?" He said with a light smile. He was usually a very thankful child. He wanted gure to like him. His momma was gone, but his papa seemed to busy to see him. He wanted family, and these people had meant alot to his mom. He wanted to be accepted. He wanted to be liked and loved.

"Really? Thanks! I can't wait to see papa!" Kiyoshi smiled ginuenly for the first time he had in a little while.

"So, where are we going?" He asked, concerning why they were walking around the house.

"Yes, really." Shigure smiled. Hopefully the child wouldn't decide to go on his own; that would be rather...unfortunate. "We're going to see your mother's body."

"momma..." His smile left him and he looked down. Kiyoshi had no idea what to expect.

Shigure led him down into the basement where Ayame's body was laid out on a table. It hadn't started to smell yet. She was pale, of course; there was no funeral home makeup on her, though he had removed her bloody clothing and covered her with a clean sheet instead.

"There she is." He said quietly.

[ooc: Spite? I'm shocked. I would use my scary Shigure icon, but it might freak the kid out.]

Momma's face was bruised up. You could tell through the thin sheet that she had been bleeding internally by the different dark spots that you could make out. Kiyoshi approache slowly, with each step a tear started to well. Until he came close enough to the body to touch it.

He had tears running out of his eyes at this point. "She's really..." He started but couldnt finnish. He understood that his mother was dead. He sniffed a bit, trying to keep his nose fro running along with his tears. He whiped at the tears as he stepped foreward and touched his moms cold hand. That was when he began to whimper, trying not to cry really hard.

Shigure watched him silently from his place at the foot of the body. He avoided thinking of Ayame's demise whenever possible; there was nothing he could do about it now, and such things could not be fixed. If he ever managed to find some privacy, he would think about it. But he had not yet had the opportunity.

Suprisingly, Kiyoshi moved toward shigure, seeking some sort of comfort. There his dead mother was before him. It was all his fault, kiyoshi thought. Momma died because she had him and the scary lady didnt like that, so the scary lady killed momma, no one else would have. right?

Kiyoshi moved to shigures side and put his hand around a small part of his yukata. Why did momma have to die? kiyoshi asked himself, accidentally saying the question outloud. Kiyoshi seeked comfort, but he was never sure what his uncle gure would allow him to have. He seemed really kind, but alot of other people had said he was mean and kind. Kiyoshi didn't know what to expect.

He knew his momma loved 'uncle gure'. But he never knew if uncle gure loved his momma. He was too upset at the moment to even try reading his 'uncle gur'.

Shigure looked down at the boy, his eyes full of pity. "I don't know." He replied quietly. "I don't know why she had to die." Bending down, he picked the child up. He didn't weigh much at all.

Kiyoshi almost clung to the man, wimpering and crying into his shoulder, but not in a obnoxious screaming way. He was glad shigure was comforting him. He continued to whimper, sometimes saying 'mommy' between whimpers. She was really dead.

"I want mommy come back..." He eventually whimpered out.

Shigure stroked his hair gently with one hand. He remembered doing the same thing to Akito years ago, when she would run crying to him after Ren had been cruel to her. "I know." He murmured. "I want her to come back too."

He did. Very much. Ayame had been one of his closest friends, and he was now dead. Even if Shigure refused to allow himself grief, he missed him.

After a long while of crying, Kiyoshi began to become tired, and the whimperig stopped. Tears still edged his eyes, but they did not flow as strongly anymore. His grip on gure had also become a little more relaxed. He was not asleep though.

Shigure carried the boy upstairs and laid him on his bed. The boy might not be asleep, but he would need to rest after crying so long. Shigure sat on the foot of the bed.

"You need to rest, Kiyoshi."

[ooc: I don't know if Akito is going to come into this log or not. If she does, we can always either start a new log or a new thread in which they meet up with her.]

Kiyoshi sat up onto the bed and as some do in stressful situations, started up with certain infantile actions. He rocked ever so slightly back and forth to somewhat ease himself.

He looked tired, but it was apparent that the shock and the sadness of it would not allow him to just yet. but even so, he nodded to gure. though he did not move

Shigure simply continued to sit.

"What... happened to mommy?... The mean lady hurt her didn't she? Because mommy didn't obey her? because mommy had me?" Kiyoshi blamed himself. This had to be it. The mean lady was the only one to hurt his momma. And the only one that told his momma she was bad for having him.
