Akito was feeling quite anxious, anticipating Yuki's return. She had not seen Shigure since before she had heard of his "death". Although reassured now that he was alright, she was annoyed with herself for getting so worked up about it.
Now, as she waited for Yuki, she wondered how smoothly their meeting would go. The rat seemed to have calmed down after his initial anger at Akito about his brother's death. However it would still stand between them - it couldn't possibly not - and Akito still couldn't bring herself to accept the full responsibility. She hoped that they might be able to avoid the subject, but given the nature of it, that was unlikely

He froze, swallowed, fought down the instinctive terror that washed through him... and smiled back, as sweetly as he could manage, moving closer as Akito had indicated.
Somehow it was easier than Yuki had expected, to be here. As if some great weight had finally been taken from him. In the back of his mind he was still afraid, but that wasn't important just now, because it didn't matter.
The only thought that almost made his smile falter was of Hatsuharu, and that little "confession" the ox had made. He prayed that Akito knew nothing of it, would not even think to suspect.
Strange how many little thoughts and fears could run through his mind in such a short moment.
[[ooc: Oh, the whole he/she thing is going to get so confusing. Haha. <3]]
Akito took Yuki's hand, drawing him into the room behind them. "What? Don't you have any words of greeting?" she asked. Despite Yuki's smile, he seemed nervous. Of course. The first thing he would associate her with would be his brother's death, Akito thought. He must be worried that she'd lose her temper... that she'd hurt him, perhaps worse. That dampened her good mood - the Juunishi were supposed to adore her, not fear her. And Yuki, who had always been one of her favourites - was he really worried that she'd hurt him?
"Close the door," she said, rather more sharply than she had intended.
[[ooc: Well we could just refer to Akito as "the brat"! But I'm not sure that would be any easier XD; ]]
Yuki closed the door as he was bade, ignoring how sharp the command was. He noticed the tinge of anger in Akito's voice, and sighed quietly. He supposed that was his fault. But then, their God had never been irritated by his obvious fear of him - why would he be angered now, when at least he tried to hide it?
He found his voice soon enough. "It's good to see you, Akito-san."
[[ooc: Sorry about that, it got angry at me. o-O; But yeah. We could try. But she'd get mad at us somehow. o-o]]
