Ed woke up, hearing a knocking outside their door. He looked beside him. Al had loyally stayed by him the whole night. He smiled, it was comforting that he had, even with all that had happened to Al.

He stood. "Coming!" he called, voice a little hoarse. He noted his body balanced a little better, felt a little stronger. He glanced down. So the antidote /had/ been the truth, huh?

He stepped to the door, drawing in a deep breath, wondering if it was who he assumed. He opened the door slowly. "Hello?" he said, looking a little disturbed at seeing his mirror image.

Pride stared at the person before him a slight disturbed look was apparent on his face too despite his cool composure. He didn't say anything at first, he just stared at Edward for a while. Eventually after an awkward silence he spoke. He wasn't really sure what to say but hello would be a good start.

"...Hello Edward..." he said, his golden lifeless eyes focused directly onto his mirror image.

Edward tried to stay calm, facially, as he stared back into his own face. A mirror reflection, if he were dead inside as this homonculus seemed to be. His own walking corpse, staring straight at him.

"H... Hello, Pride," he responded, gathering himself, stepping aside to let the other in.

Pride walked into the room quietly and at a steady pace. He scanned the room for Envy and Alphonse. When he saw they weren't about he came to the conclusion that they were probably still in bed or in another room. He walked over to the seating area and stood where the seats were. He didn't sit down he just apeared to be staring off into the distance.

"...I take it the others are asleep...?" he asked in his calm and lifeless voice
