But by the gods, he was bored.
Blowing a strand of white hair from his eyes, Bakura chanced a look down at the streets; he arched an eyebrow, a smirk crossing his lips, when he spotted a familiar head of hair creeping down the sidewalk. Ignoring the gut feeling that the person looked too familiar, Bakura stepped back into his loft, closing the window.
It wasn't difficult to find an alternate way out; stairs had a way of being incredibly noisy. In moments, he was on the street, silently tailing the child; the hood of his cloak was raised to cover his face, though he had a feeling it wouldn't be necessary.

Something had changed. Coming to a halt, he considered all the thing which might have become different in the past few minutes. A window had closed a few moments before. Perhaps that was it.
...no, this was something stronger. It was similar to the awkward familiarity he'd felt around the other Bakura, a sort of... well, he couldn't describe it to himself. As best as he could manage, someone nearby now was making the air taste like the desert. Not in an unnatural way.
"Found you," he called out experimentally, not bothering to turn around. Best not to seem alarmed, after all. Bakura had made it this far. Some weird feeling creeping up his spine wasn't going to change that.
Besides, there was a broken piece of something sharp resting not a few feet away from him. He could probably use it well enough as a weapon, if he needed to.

Nonetheless, he wasn't going to reveal himself for a silly trick like that. Instead, he stepped inside an open door, cloaking himself in the shadows while keeping a close watch over the child. He was well aware that the kid wouldn't be able to see him unless he came inside; with that in mind, he folded his arms, a small knowing smirk crossing his lips.
Let's see how well you do.

"...you should give up," he found himself sighing as he started walking again. "I won. You said I couldn't find you, and I did."
Upon consideration, he paused.
"You owe me something." He'd won the 'you can't find me' game, he deserved to collect his prize. Not that there'd been any discussion of the idea, but did it hurt to try and play the extortionist card? It was something he needed practice with, at any rate.
Bakura was fairly certain that this person was a little too practiced to fall for that sort of thing, of course. Which was really too bad; he could have used something to eat at the moment. The fizzy fruity thing he'd had to drink had only made his stomach grumble angrily at him. Glancing up and down for his potential benefactor, Bakura slowed again, stopped, and turned to peek into the doorway which radiated the most heat.
