Comet Hale-Bopp passing in front of the Double Cluster in Perseus.



This close-up on Hale-Bopp allow to detail the two tails: the blue one (the gaz tail) and the white one (the dust tail). They sprawl in front of the Milky Way and are going to clutch the Perseus double cluster (in the middle of the picture). At this time, the comet was 15 degrees long.
