My family is not religious, I am not religious, and I do not believe in the foolishness that a religious holiday has become. Unless we began to, which I severely doubt, my family never celebrated Christmas.

The holiday itself is part of a yearly cycle which supports the economy, so I suppose that it is not entirely without merit.
