I'm almost ecstatic that you like the way I wrote Jo. I felt that she would have a difficult time getting over what happened. Even as a hunter and knowing Sam was possessed, it's still his face and body that did those things to her. In my opinion Sam had to do something to show her who he really is. He shot Dean, while possessed and seeing him doing something like trying to help his brother, although he himself is worse off would probably do that for her. As for Ellen, I think she is exactly what Dean needs, someone who keeps him in line, just because she cares about him. And you are right about Dean too, he would so drag himself out of bed, no matter what. It is sad that Dean learned since he's been little not to trust anyone. Although every parent tries to teach their children not to trust strangers, we also try to make children understand that not everybody is bad. Dean on the other hand learned that evil is everywhere and that you can't trust anyone even if they seem to be honest ( ... )
