(Franziska’s had a lot on her mind lately concerning the arrivals and departures in Discedo, and what sort of system they might run on, but for now she’ll put only one question forth:)

Does anyone know of any common traits those individuals who have departed the city only to later return with their memories intact might share?

[She sounds somewhat sullen when she responds. Someone's been dwelling.]

I would prefer to converse with you in person.

I think I have a right to know what the topic of the conversation will be before I agree to have it.

(Well, this wasn't going quite as planned; Franziska huffs out an annoyed breath and continues:)

There's no need for dramatics - either you are willing to speak with me or you are not.

And as I've said, my willingness depends on what you want to talk about.

What do you think I would like to talk about?

You're asking me to make assumptions?

I'm asking you to utilize your common sense.

[A long pause; she's decided to stop playing dumb.]

I'm not sure if I want to talk to you.

Why not?

...I'm scared.

There is no need to be afraid of a simple conversation.

It's not the conversation I'm afraid of.

It's the outcome.

There's no need to be afraid of that, either.
