I simply thought it wise for those of us who know one another to remain in contact as much as possible, considering Discedo's various dangers and the scientists' fondness for removing people from the city on a whim - it makes things much simpler on several levels.

Also, I believe it's become considerably less crowded over there within the past few days, which was the main reason for my departure.
