So lately I've been wanting to write some profound LJ posts. I've got a range of topics I want to do essays on, from politics to racefail. And all I've got to say, as I sit here catching up on Leverage off the DVR, has nothing to do with any of it.

My profound thoughts are thus:

Oh don't get me wrong, I like literary sex as much as the next girl. My OMG WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BRAIN point is when the characters jump in to the sex in direct defiance of either the character that's been established so far, or the plot, or when the sex is shoved in there because the writer just wants to see their muses get it on ( ... )

Sci-fi....*shudders* One category of book I just cannot get into for the life of me. LOL. Not even for romance.
