This is mega. One of the freshest poems I've read in a bit....definitely a fav from what I've read on this page Top topic.....as I can relate in many ways....and feel similar about writing, listening and breathing being a lot more than what the average take them for, and what can be manufactured from them or just the beauty of life which they uphold. The passion that which you wrote with stood out. Bonus marks if I was to grade it because I love the smell of jasmine in spring and summer evenings....well anytime.

at the first taste we scream shouting thoughts like feelings I hope your alright, I cry as I could feel your hand leaving I fall like arrows had struck me down words left like smiles wiped off the faces of clowns felt like your touch was no longer around, my body layed still stretched out on the ground dreams like tattered banners that had fallen without a sound
I gained clarity realized I had lost my senses the people around me torn down like broken fences Saw your hand holding mine gave me strength as I shouted to raise the Defences eclipsed like stares between us and the words that (our eyes) they mentioned storys told through a glance fires littered the ground as survivors ran past Golden towers sat in ruins but I was no stranger to this dance grasped hope like a lance rode off into the hills of wisdom to take my chance
we stood in the garden underneath the end of the world disguised as failing light

I hope your alright, I cry as I could feel your hand leaving

I gained clarity realized I had lost my senses
the people around me torn down like broken fences
Saw your hand holding mine gave me strength as I shouted to raise the Defences
eclipsed like stares between us and the words that (our eyes) they mentioned
storys told through a glance
