I have no money. None. And the reason I have no money is that my student loan thingy has taken two months ot get sorted and now, two weeks after I was due to get the cheque its still lost somewhere in internal mail in Glasgow Uni. Fuuuuuuuuuck ( Read more... )

Oh crap that's got to annoy the pants off you.

Opinions are divided on whether having no pants solves more problems than it complicates.

Drumming weekend sounds like fun. I wonder if they have those for people who play the trumpet very badly.

What is it about student loans that means that they're as incompetent at actually GETTING the money to people in every country in the world?

The cheque came through today!
The lovely ladies at Glasgow Uni finance called me at 9 this morning and opened the office early for me to get it. They;re so lovely. If I had money I'd buy them flowers.... As it is, I beamed at them and the giggled at me.

The cheque is now banked, and soon I will be not poor.
Its such a relief!
