Yayyy! I never understood why Britain gets things so much later. I guess they just buy the rights later on once they've seen that the show is getting popular?
I know! When I saw Sookie and Bill in the first episode I was like "OHH no... this is going to be some cheesy cliched vampire-human romance crap, isn't it?" But then the side characters were excellent and it kept getting more enjoyable by the episode. :D
Yeah, when I saw it I was just thinking, "urgh some more vampire crap riding off the back of those sparkly Twilight turds," but was pleasantly surprised.
Tara, Lafayette, Jason and Sam are what make the show for me. (Though obviously Sookie and Bill are awesome)
Yesss, those characters are very clearly the best, I so agree. Jason is so sweetly stupid that it's just completely endearing and entertaining, I love him. Bill is mostly funny because he's such a dork. Every time he opens his mouth, I chuckle at his dorkiness and hilarious accent. ANNND later on, you will learn of the awesomness of Eric. At first, he seems like a boring douche but then he becomes incredibly amusing. Just you wait. :D
