The weekend is here! After another insanely busy week at work I can relax. I just picked my first batch of home grown basil from my patio garden. Can you say Pesto? I'm going to wait a bit, pick some more leaves and then make a big batch that I can freeze in several containers

We picked fresh basil from our garden tonight and made pesto, too! We mixed it in with whole wheat rotini and shrimp. Sooooo good.
Thanks for the reminder on the oregano. I'm going to make pasta/sausage/zucchini this weekend, and I can pick some of the oregano from our garden, too.
I'm hungry again.
