Lovely! I like the art/craft parallel/contrast, and especially the use of two meanings of 'art.' And this line: I recognise my sword-blade in his smile : D

Yay, I'm pleased you like it! And that art and craft thing occurred to me right at the last minute as a way of distinguishing the two. Before then it was still ambiguous.
